Description

It was formed by a group of downtown property owners, business owners and residents whose purpose was to assist in the revitalization of the historic downtown district, by promoting events and the redevelopment of downtown while supporting efforts to restore historic sites. We became a 501(c)3 in 2000, and in 2007 we added a DBA: River District Alliance.

The Downtown Management Corporation of Fort Myers, Florida was incorporated on November 28, 1994.
