This is the creative ventures of Gerard Zimney and Catherine Ostos Custom jewelry and other whimsy created from a space of peace and balance. Catherine took Gerard to an art fair a number of years ago. The stones and design literally spoke to him. His creating spirit sprouted wings. Gerard studied Jewelry Design and Manufacture in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His woven bead work now makes room for silver and gold smithing. After 30 years of teaching, Catherine retired from the classroom and they returned to Duluth, Minnesota where the greatest of lakes and all nature inspires them both to create adornments for body and home that infuse personal space with healing energy. Catherine started playing with driftwood and stones, and as Gerard shaped silver and gold, Catherine missed the beaded pieces Gerard had been making, she picked up where he left off. Each piece is unique and one of a kind. Keep this in mind as you peruse the albums. If a piece has been sold another piece can be created incorporating the same healing stones and the same color pallet, but each piece will be uniquely individual.
